It’s been a busy few days for the Detroit Lions.
On Tuesday, they narrowed their roster to 52 players, then picked up former Lions UDFA LB Trevor Nowaske off of waivers on Wednesday afternoon. By the end of Wednesday, they established their initial practice squad, adding 15 players with another (Donovan Peoples-Jones) reportedly on the way. On Thursday, the Lions continued to make moves, placing John Cominsky on injured reserve (opening a spot on the active roster), adding Peoples-Jones, and defensive back Erick Hallett to the practice squad—and in turn releasing C.
