The Detroit Lions are already one of the hardest teams hit by the COVID-19 pandemic. While only two players—defensive tackle John Atkins and wide receiver Geronimo Allison—have opted out, the Lions still have seven players listed on the reserve/COVID-19 list. With most of those players, it’s still unclear of their current health situation. They may have tested positive, or they may have simply been in close proximity with someone who has the virus. They may be asymptomatic or they may have developed symptoms.
