It was a tough day at practice for the Detroit Lions secondary. Both first and second-round picks Terrion Arnold and Ennis Rakestraw left Monday evening’s practice with injuries. Per the team, Arnold is dealing with an upper body injury and Rakestraw is dealing with an ankle injury. Neither player returned to practice and both headed to the locker room.

Both injuries happened early in practice during one-on-one drills. Rakestraw attempted to return to play during 11-on-11s, but left after one series. Trainers attended to both players for a significant amount of time, and both players were able to walk off the field under their own power.
