Bob Quinn explains what Detroit Lions want in next offensive coordinator

The Detroit Lions aren’t in any rush to hire a new offensive coordinator, and general manager Bob Quinn said all options remain on the table for replacing Jim Bob Cooter, including staying in-house.

“There’s no timetable,” Quinn said Friday in his annual end-of-season news conference. “We’re just going to get this right. There’s no rush. The way this works in the NFL is you can’t talk to people that are employed by other teams, so there’s a waiting period if teams are still playing.
