Jim Caldwell and his coaches did plenty of soul-searching this past weekend, trying to figure out why they blew a game in the most unbelievably Lions-esque way.
What conclusions they came to, you’ll just have to take their word for. They’ve fixed it. It won’t happen again. They’ve moved on — even if you haven’t.
Given a chance to bring some semblance of closure to one of the most gut-wrenching losses this franchise has ever seen, Caldwell opted instead to ignore the elephant(s) in the room at his weekly news conference Monday.
The Lions gave away a game to the Green Bay Packers when they misplayed Aaron Rodgers’ 61-yard Hail Mary touchdown pass to Richard Rodgers.
