Ford Motor Co. Executive Chairman Bill Ford Jr. on Monday told The Detroit News he’s “very” happy with his role with the Detroit Lions, despite being less active with the team since his mother took over as owner and chairwoman.
Ford Jr. is a vice chairman for the Lions, a position also held by his three sisters. He said in October he was less involved than usual and there have been reports that he was being pushed out in favor of his sisters.
“I’ve got my hands full with my day job,” Ford told The News during the first press preview days of the 2016 North American International Auto Show.
