This offseason has been especially long for cornerback Bill Bentley.
It began on a Monday night back in September of 2014, when he planted wrong on his left leg in the season opener against the New York Giants and tore the ACL in his knee.
His offseason consisted of surgery, rehab and strength training in an effort to get back on the field.
Eight months later Bentley is back working with his teammates and fighting for a role in the Detroit Lions’ secondary.
“It’s an unbelievable feeling just to be back out here doing it again,” Bentley said of being able to participate in OTA practices.
