Back on Nov. 15, the Detroit Lions kicker made a 59-yard field goal to beat the Washington Football Team as time expired.
That kick turned out to be the longest field goal of the season and earned the city of Detroit some free beer.
In July, Bud Light had challenged Prater and Denver Broncos kicker Brandon McManus to a contest: whoever kicks the longest field goal this season would win his city free beer.
McManus’ longest field goal this year was a 58-yarder in a 31-3 loss to the New Orleans Saints in Week 12.
