Allen Park — Lions wide receiver Lance Moore and tight end Eric Ebron said they received fines from the NFL for wearing Christmas-themed cleats in last Monday's win over the Saints.
The standard fine for a uniform violation is $5,787, and both players said they didn't regret their apparel choice.
"Ain't no thing," Ebron said. "It was worth it."
The NFL has strict uniform policies, and players are supposed to wear cleats with a certain color scheme each week.
Moore's cleats were mostly blue and white, but also featured snowmen, holly and poinsettias. They also had his daughter's initials, G.
