With Haloti Ngata re-signed along with Tyrunn Walker, the Detroit Lions have their starting DT from 2015 back in the fold. They also signed former Buffalo Bills DT Stefan Charles. Add into that mix former 5th round pick Caraun Reid and recently drafted Gabe Wright and you might be thinking that position is pretty deep. Consider this, though, as Walker and Charles are only on one year deals and Ngata is essentially on the same. Reid has been a perennial ‘Cockroach’ player, looking good in camp and then disappearing once the lights come on while Gabe Wright was eventually benched last season after failing to show anything promising in-game action.
