The Detroit Lions made a late roster move on Friday afternoon as they prepare to close out their 2018 season against the Green Bay Packers. They placed defensive tackle A’Shawn Robinson, who left last week’s game against the Minnesota Vikings early with a knee injury, on injured reserve. They will replace Robinson on the 53-man roster with defensive end Mitchell Loewen, who they were awarded off of waivers from the New Orleans Saints.
Loewen joined the Saints as an undrafted free agent in 2016, but failed to make their 53-man roster.
