Aretha Franklin is set to be celebrated on one of the biggest sports-television showcases of the year.
The late Queen of Soul will be honored during tonight's "Monday Night Football" season kickoff on ESPN, a doubleheader that starts with the Detroit Lions' game against the New York Jets at Ford Field (7:10 p.m.).
A two-minute video, taped in Detroit on Sunday, features Boyz II Men and Tori Kelly performing Franklin's "Rock Steady" at spots around Detroit, sources tell the Free Press.
