The Detroit Lions came into this offseason with major question marks at defensive tackle. Ndamukong Suh was set to become the highest paid defensive player in the NFL and C.J. Mosley and Nick Fairley had fallen out of favor with the organization. Once it became clear Suh was not returning, Martin Mayhew jumped into action and made some huge moves to fill the hole. With the acquisitions of Haloti Ngata, Tyrunn Walker, and Gabe Wright, the Lions made huge strides to rebuild the trenches of the number one run defense in the NFL last year. Tyrunn Walker is probably the least known of the three players, but he might end up having the most long term impact for the team.
