An All-22 look at how Teez Tabor's role has finally expanded with the Lions

ALLEN PARK -- The debut of Teez Tabor as a critical piece of the Detroit Lions defense needed to take its time. A controversial second-round pick due to his 40-yard dash times coming out of Florida, Tabor had to spend weeks with a lasting public impression of getting torched by Jared Abbrederis in training camp.

The Lions chose to develop Tabor slowly, partly because they knew they had to and partly because they could with a healthy and deep secondary. That was until an injury to Tavon Wilson forced Quandre Diggs to move from nickel cornerback to safety.
