The Green Bay Packers had an opportunity to make quite a storyline in the third round of the 2021 NFL Draft. With wide receiver being a big need—especially if there was any hope left in keeping Aaron Rodgers happy—USC receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown was staring them in the face with the 85th pick in the draft. With St. Brown’s brother, Equanimous, already on the Packers roster, it could have been a neat family reunion, much like the Detroit Lions experienced with Julian and Romeo Okwara last year.
Instead, the Packers chose Clemson receiver Amari Rodgers, a player with a lot of the same qualities as Amon-Ra, but fewer athletic traits.
