NAPA, Calif. -- After spending nine days hitting the same guys over and over, the Detroit Lions will break up the dog days of training camp this week by crisscrossing the country to face the Oakland Raiders in a pair of joint practices.
The Raiders have held their training camp in Napa, Calif., every season since 1996. They return this year, despite the club's looming move to Las Vegas. Practices are held on a field behind the Napa Valley Marriott.
