DETROIT -- The Lions lost 48-17 on Monday night in their season opener against the New York Jets. Here are three things we learned in the setback.
No, the Lions haven't fixed their running game. Bob Quinn made the running game his priority, even forgoing improvements for the front seven to go get guys like guard Frank Ragnow and running back Kerryon Johnson in the first two rounds of the draft. Heck, he even gave up a pick to go get Johnson. He also spent $2 million on LeGarrette Blount in free agency and brought in Jeff Davidson to help coach up the line.
