One of the saddest days in football just happened earlier this weekend, as more than 1,000 prospective NFL players had their professional dreams cut short due to NFL rosters being required to make their final roster cuts and finalize their 53-man rosters.
But any savvy NFL fan knows that that 53-man roster is far from final, as it’s key for teams to pick up these recently cut players in order to stay afloat in their respective divisions, provide injury depth for starters, and just maybe pick up a few impact players that fell through the cracks.
