While the Detroit Lions added four players to the injury list at the beginning of training camp, they also welcomed back three players who were placed on such lists over the weekend.
Rookie offensive tackle Giovanni Manu was taken off the Non-Football Injury list, while defensive back Brian Branch and defensive end Marcus Davenport were activated from the Physically Unable to Perform list. All three players were at practice and participating to varying degrees.
“You’ll see Davenport out there today, you’ll see Branch out there today in walkthrough, so these guys are slowly going,” coach Dan Campbell said before practice.
