Golden Tate racked up 104 yards in the finale to crack four digits (1,003). Marvin Jones crushed it with 1,101 yards in a breakout year. No other team in the league had two 1,000-yard receivers. (Tate's actually done it twice now, joining Calvin Johnson in 2014.)
They were 1-6 against teams that finished above .500, with five straight losses to end the season. Just one season after they lost their last five games against winning teams. This was a hallmark of the Jim Caldwell era -- he rarely lost games he shouldn't, and give him credit for that.
