We knew going into the 2025 NFL Draft that wide receiver could be on the table for the Detroit Lions at some point. And while they have one of the better pass-catching duos in the league in All-Pro receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown and Jameson Williams, there was still a need for a long-term plan at the X-position once veteran Tim Patrick is no longer on the roster.
After already trading up once on day two of the draft to pick guard Tate Ratledge out of Georgia, Lions’ general manager Brad Holmes decided to move up again in to draft wide receiver Isaac Teslaa out of the University of Arkansas.
