With the end of the regular season upon us, the 2025 NFL head coaching carousel is set to begin. The Detroit Lions will undoubtedly be in many headlines, as offensive coordinator Ben Johnson and defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn enter the offseason as two of the hottest candidates for head coaching jobs this cycle. Of course, we said the same thing last year, and both ended up returning to the team for another shot at a championship in Detroit.
Because the Lions earned a first-round bye in the postseason, Johnson and Glenn can start interviewing virtually for coaching positions starting this Wednesday (January 8), but must conclude those by the end of the Wild Card games (on Monday night).
