The Detroit Lions must cut down their roster to 53 players on Saturday
Every NFL team, including the Detroit Lions, are required by the league to trim their 80-man rosters to 53 players by Saturday at 4:00 p.m. ET. The Lions organization has done little to move towards that number this past week, apparently evaluating their roster to the last moment.
Below, we’ll be continuously updating a list of players who have reportedly been released or waived by the Lions in an effort to get down to a 53-man roster.
