From January to April, there’s always a handful of prospects that seem to fall in mock drafts for no apparent reason. Some would argue that there’s more information out there and player slip into where they should’ve belonged all along. Others would argue it’s just groupthink among draft analysts.
One example of that is Clemson edge defender Clelin Ferrell, who was once considered a likely pick for the Detroit Lions at eight.
