The NFL released some of the results regarding Pro Bowl voting on Thursday, and there are several Detroit Lions in the mix this year.
Most notably, Darius Slay is the leading vote-getter among all NFC cornerbacks. Slay has never made a Pro Bowl in his four-year career, but currently leads all cornerbacks with four interceptions and 15 passes defended. According to Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press, Slay ranks fourth among all NFL cornerbacks in voting.
Fellow defensive back Glover Quin is also in the mix for the Pro Bowl this year, but he’s got some ground to make up:
For the year, Quin is fifth among safeties with three interceptions and he is currently the third-highest graded safety according to Pro Football Focus.
