The 2018 NFL Draft is now completely. You can see all six of the Lions’ picks here, but we’re not at all done on the day. There is an entire slew of players that went undrafted that will still have a chance to make an impact with an NFL team as an undrafted free agent (UDFA). Every year, teams add anywhere between six and 15 UDFAs to round out their roster and help compete during the offseason.
And oftentimes, these aren’t insignificant names. Just last year, the Lions added Alex Barrett, Jeremiah Valoaga and Tion Green as UDFAs and each actually played a somewhat significant role for the 2017 Lions.
