DECEMBER 8, 2012: COLTS 35, LIONS 33
The Lions held a 33-21 lead with under three minutes to go in this one, but then rookie quarterback Andrew Luck led the Colts on an amazing comeback. He hit receiver LaVon Brazill for a 46-yard touchdown with 2:39 remaining. The Lions got the ball back, but were forced to punt after just five plays, helping to set up Luck’s heroics. He engineered an 11-play, 75-yard drive that culminated with a 14-yard pass to receiver Donnie Avery as time expired to give the Colts the come-from-behind victory.
Luck threw for 391 yards and four touchdowns with three interceptions on the day.
