ORLANDO, Fla. -- The owners meetings are over. Martha Firestone Ford has boarded her private plane out of here. Bob Quinn is headed back for Detroit, too, after taking a little extra time to hang with his family in Florida. And now the draft prep is really ready to ramp up.
But first, here are a few things we learned from chatting with Quinn, coach Matt Patricia and team president Rod Wood this week in Orlando.
Matt Patricia is not Bill Belichick
Anyone who knows the guy could have told you this. Problem is, the public never really saw much of Patricia until the last couple years in New England, and even then he was deferential to how Belichick wanted to run things.
