A nagging ankle injury sidelined Detroit Lions running back Reggie Bush for last Sunday's loss to the Arizona Cardinals. The same injury is likely to keep him out for this Sunday's clash with the New England Patriots.
However, after that? We could very well have a Bush sighting on Turkey Day.
According to Mike Florio of NBC's Pro Football Talk, "per a source with knowledge of the situation, Bush intends to return on Thanksgiving, when the Lions host the Bears."
Bush was on the practice field all week for the Detroit Lions, but he was limited from a participation standpoint. However, his mere presence on the field fueled optimism that he could be back as soon as Sunday's game against New England.
However, from the looks of it, it appears the Lions will have to wait four more days to have the dynamic veteran halfback back on the field.
