Just a day before the team's game against the Atlanta Falcons, the Detroit Lions sent defensive tackle C.J. Mosley back to the States alone.
Per Michael David Smith of NBC's Pro Football Talk, "Mosley has been suspended for two weeks for conduct detrimental to the team and a violation of the team rules. The team did not say which rule Mosley violated. Mosley is on the way home and will not attend Sunday’s game at Wembley Stadium."
Mosley has functioned as a backup all season long, recording 2.5 sacks while playing in every game the Detroit Lions have played. With him gone, expect Nick Fairley and Ndamukong Suh to see an even greater number of sacks against the Falcons.
With Mosley off the active roster, the Lions signed safety Jerome Couplin from the practice squad to take his place.
