Matthew Stafford threw a 5-yard touchdown pass to RB Kevin Smith with 10 seconds left, giving the Lions a 27-23 victory over the Rams yesterday. The Lions perfectly executed a 2 minute drive to go 80 yards to win the game.
On the last play, WR Calving Johnson demands coverage from 5 defenders, leaving Smith open to walk into the end zone for the win. 5 guys covering 1 WR . . . never a good thing.
