The Detroit Lions traded back to No. 28 in the first round for two extra 5th-round picks and OL Manny Ramirez, and they used that pick to select Laken Tomlinson out of Duke.
Position: Wide Receiver
Measurables: 6’3”, 323 lbs, 34” arm length, 10 ¼” hands
Analysis:
Detroit is revamping their offensive line, Tomlinson would fit in as a skilled, intelligent player who should be able to start right away as a rookie and have a long career. He's the best pure guard in this draft, and will be someone the Lions can rely on right away.
