CHICAGO -- Caroline Coyer scored 18 of her 25 points in the second half, Katherine Coyer made a free throw with 6.2 seconds left and Villanova beat No. 24 DePaul 64-60 on Sunday to knock off the lone unbeaten team in Big East play.
It was the first win in eight all-time tries at McGrath-Phillips Arena for Villanova (10-6, 4-2).
Caroline Coyer hit a deep 3-pointer -- her first make from distance in the game -- to extend Villanova's lead to 48-43. Then she made a pull-up jumper near the free-throw line and swished a 3 from the wing for a 53-45 lead.
