These next few weeks of the spring signing period for the NCAA are going to be crucial for DePaul men’s basketball, and there’s a few names reportedly considering DePaul that could immediately improve the roster.
As the roster stands right now, the Blue Demons have two scholarship spots open going into the 2017-18 season. Who they get to fill those two spots can make or break what will be the biggest year for men’s basketball in a very long time.
The crown jewel of potential recruits is unsigned five-star small forward Brian Bowen. Bowen, a 6-foot-7, 194 pound former high school teammate of Brandon Cyrus and Al Eichelberger, was on an unofficial visit to DePaul a few weeks ago and has an offer from DePaul, according to 247sports.
