CHICAGO -- Chanise Jenkins had a career-high 25 points and eight assists, while Jessica January scored a season-best 21 with five assists to lead No. 25 DePaul past Marquette 91-86 Tuesday night.
Megan Podkowa finished with 11 points and 12 rebounds, her sixth double-double this season, for DePaul (9-5, 1-0 Big East). Jacqui Grant and Ashton Millender scored 10 apiece.
Erika Davenport made a layup that gave Marquette its first lead, 83-82, since the first quarter. Millender hit a 3-pointer 15 seconds later, and Jenkins and January combined to make 6 of 6 free throws to seal it.
