CHICAGO -- Josh Hagins scored 19 with eight assists and keyed an 18-4 run to start the second half as Arkansas-Little Rock extended the best start to a season in program history with a 66-44 win over DePaul on Saturday night.
The Trojans led 32-23 at halftime before Hagins had six points and two assists during the decisive run that pushed the UALR lead to 23 points with 11 minutes to play.
UALR (8-0) overcame poor shooting from the field -- the Trojans shot just 40.7 percent on 54 attempts, including 6 of 20 from 3-point range -- by making 16 of 20 free throws and forcing 20 DePaul turnovers.
