DePaul men’s basketball could not capture momentum from beating No. 11 Providence on Tuesday as they dropped a clunker to Creighton 88-66 Saturday afternoon.
Creighton’s (15-9, 6-5 Big East) Cole Huff led the game with 28 points while Myke Henry put in another high-scoring performance for DePaul (8-15, 2-9), dropping 22 for the Blue Demons. Billy Garrett Jr. was held scoreless while only picking up two rebounds in 17 minutes.
The Bluejays nursed a small lead in the first half, going up by four or six points at a time and led DePaul 21-17 with just over six minutes to go in the half.
