DePaul Blue Demons' Doug Bruno becomes 19th Division I women's coach to win 600 games

INDIANAPOLIS -- DePaul coach Doug Bruno became the 19th Division I women's basketball coach to reach 600 victories when the Blue Demons beat Butler 61-54 on Friday night.

Bruno, who is 600-315 in his 30-year career at DePaul, is the seventh coach to reach that milestone at one school, according to the NCAA. He joins Pat Summitt with Tennessee, Geno Auriemma with UConn, Andy Landers with Georgia, Robin Selvig with Montana, Debbie Ryan with Virginia and Harry Perretta with Villanova.

Brooke Schulte and Chanise Jenkins led DePaul with 14 points. Jenkins paced the Blue Demons with eight rebounds and added three assists and a steal.
