MINNEAPOLIS – Next up: Jamal Murray.
Injuries have decimated the Nuggets shooting guard spot, taking down starter Gary Harris and reserve Will Barton. Neither will play on Thursday at Minnesota, and that puts Murray, a rookie, right in the spotlight.
“It’s a good opportunity for me to get used to this team and be on the court,” said Murray, who could start unless the Nuggets shake up the lineup a bit. “It’s going to be good.”
Murray, who the Nuggets drafted seventh overall this year, hasn’t played a ton thus far but that will change now.
