In consecutive years, Nuggets coach Michael Malone has moved training camp away from the team’s Pepsi Center practice facility to remote locations with bigger venues. Space has been, and always will be, a big deal for him.
So why does he need all of that space?

“When you have 20 players and you’re trying to get in offensive concepts, defensive concepts, and you’re stuck on one court, it makes it very hard,” Malone said. “So to be able to script offense on two courts simultaneously, to be able to work on defensive coverages or stations on two courts helps us.
