Why Jamal Murray will avoid the sophomore slump

Jamal Murray is a gem the Denver Nuggets found in the draft. He was the seventh overall pick of his class and has quickly solidified a future with the organization.

Despite battling two sports hernias in his rookie year, Murray was the only player on the team to play in all regular season games and found a way to carve out solid minutes in the rotation.

He provided great productivity despite going scoreless in his first couple of NBA games and many feel, including myself, was robbed of All Rookie First Team honors. The kid has proven to have a great work ethic and it will only carry him further and further down the right path as a professional.
