OAKLAND — During NBA games, players sometimes fall out of bounds, into the arms of well-heeled fans, who have paid hundreds, even thousands of dollars for floor seats. It’s part of the game. The unwritten rule in such scenarios is to let said player get up as quickly as possible and get back into the action. Even give him a hand out of your nachos if he needs it.
So, when Toronto Raptors player Kyle Lowry fell into some fans during Game 3 of the NBA Finals against the Golden State Warriors Wednesday night, TV viewers were stunned to see one of those fans not only lay his hand upon Lowry, but give a very obvious shove to the Raptors guard and then appear to have words with Lowry.
