ORLANDO — There’s still no timeline for Nuggets rookie first-round pick Michael Porter Jr. to return from his two back surgeries, but his ongoing recovery doesn’t appear to have hampered his 3-point shooting.
Porter Jr. rained 3-pointers on Wednesday morning while working with team staffers following a Nuggets shootaround prior to their victory over Orlando. It’s not uncommon to see Porter Jr. participate in 3-point contests with his teammates after practices when the team is back in Denver.

The Nuggets have won seven in a row despite a rash of injuries to Gary Harris, Will Barton, Isaiah Thomas, Jarred Vanderbilt and Porter Jr.
