It was Halloween night in the big easy and even though the Denver Nuggets did not pick up the victory, there was still a positive to take away and that was the play of Michael Porter Jr.
Will Barton was out because of left toe inflammation, which gave Porter the opportunity to play with the Nuggets second unit. In his first NBA game, Porter made the most of it as he was the Nuggets leading scorer with 15 points on 5-of-8 shooting from the field, 1-of-3 from three-point range.
That was Porter’s first NBA basket as he scored four points in the first half before scoring 11 points in the final two quarters.
