For all the trouble the Nuggets have seen during the past two years, shouldn't the team be better at crisis management?
The Nuggets traded point guard Ty Lawson, who averaged 14.2 points and 6.6 assists during six seasons in Denver, for 15 cents on the dollar.
There's no reason to smile in this deal.
It's just another case of the same old bad news for the Nuggets.
Grin and bear it.
When Nuggets general manager Tim Connelly insisted last week he was standing "firmly behind" Lawson, now we know it actually meant Connelly was preparing to give a firm kick of Lawson's behind out the door.
