Tim Connelly, the Denver Nuggets’ general manager, said that the Nuggets need an “Alpha Dog” in a recent interview.
The Sports Show’s Les Shapiro posed the question of whether the Nuggets’ organization could secure a top NBA player and whether one of the NBA’s elite would want to come to Denver, which is seen as a flyover city by many.
Woody Paige criticized Tim Connelly’s words saying he should be more assertive and say that the team will get a star player.
“There’s a big difference between we need and we are going to get,” Paige said.
