I can't say where or what Sean Kilpatrick was doing when he got the call. What I can say is that I'm fairly confident he was elated when he got it. That call had Nuggets General Manager Tim Connelly on the other end telling Kilpatrick the Nuggets were offering him a contract to play with the team. There was of course one catch: the contract is only good for ten days (or 3 games...but we'll get into that in a bit). For most people who are already gainfully employed, someone offering a 10 day job would be comical at best, but for the fringe NBA player in the D-League it's everything.
