The Denver Nuggets suffered one of their worst losses of the season Tuesday, surrendering a 19-point second-half lead to fall 122-120 to the Clippers and spoil Paul Millsap’s return from wrist surgery.
Here are seven takeaways from the defeat:
1. Millsap’s back. Millsap finished with nine points (4-of-10 shooting), seven rebounds and two blocks in 23 minutes in his first action since mid-November. He said his wrist held up “a lot better than what I expected,” but conceded a reason it did not get hit much was because he did not attack the basket like he normally does.
