Nuggets center Mason Plumlee knows it’s a touchy topic, so he’s careful how he phrases his words.
“To me, the load management thing is interesting because the whole trend of basketball, from college to pros, everything is load management,” Plumlee told The Denver Post.
As the team’s union representative, Plumlee is acutely aware of the topic, which is at the heart of the NBA’s latest scuttlebutt. The NBA is considering potentially dramatic changes to the schedule, which would, if adopted, include a 30-team in-season tournament, a postseason play-in tournament and a reseeding of conference finalists, according to ESPN.
