There is significant optimism that Michael Porter Jr. will return sometime in March, Porter’s agent, Mark Bartelstein, told The Denver Post on Sunday.
“There’s a very good chance he could be back if he continues to progress,” Bartelstein said. “He’s checked every box and is getting stronger each and every day.”
Porter, who underwent back surgery Dec. 1, is working toward on-court contact, which could come in the next week, he said.
The Nuggets, thanks to the MVP-caliber play of Nikola Jokic, have continued to surge even without Porter or Jamal Murray.
